About Austin
Curious by
nature. Useful
by design.
I’m Austin Zheng—a creative technologist who helps make complex GenAI capabilities feel clear, human, and ready for real work.
I work where enterprise GenAI, product strategy, and design overlap. I’m most energized by ambiguous questions: the ones that need a better frame, responsible agentic workflow design, and honest evidence before they need a bigger plan.

I believe the best technology doesn’t announce how advanced it is. It helps someone understand, decide, create, or move.
My process starts by noticing what does not fit the first explanation. From there I map the system, identify the most useful question, and build the smallest artifact that can teach us something real.
Right now I’m exploring knowledge agents, retrieval-augmented generation, multimodal interfaces, AI governance, and what trustworthy AI companions should—and should not—do.
How I tend to work
- 01
Notice
Look for the awkward detail the first answer missed.
- 02
Connect
See the people, incentives, tools, and constraints as one system.
- 03
Make
Build something small enough to test and clear enough to discuss.
- 04
Learn
Let evidence change the idea without losing the original curiosity.
