Problem
Enterprise teams wanted faster ways to create and adapt visual assets, but a model demonstration was not enough. The capability needed usable editing controls, a delivery path teams could adopt, and support for varied creative workflows.
Insight
Image generation becomes an enterprise capability when people can refine an output rather than repeatedly start over. Inpainting, outpainting, and style control make the workflow more useful than a single prompt-and-result interaction.
Decision
Build text-to-image generation and editing workflows around Google Imagen, then treat validation, launch planning, stakeholder alignment, and rollout as part of the product—not as work that begins after the model is ready.
Implementation
Austin contributed GenAI consulting and solution delivery across the lifecycle, including discovery, requirements, prototyping, validation, go-live planning, and rollout support. The public case study intentionally excludes employer-confidential architecture and operating details.
Evidence
- The solution launched globally.
- More than 900 departments adopted the workflow.
- Users generated more than 500,000 images.
- The supported workflow included text-to-image generation, inpainting, outpainting, and style prompting.
Reflection
The scale changed the design question. The challenge was no longer whether the model could make an image; it was whether a broad set of enterprise users could fit the capability into real creative work.
Evidence on record
What can be checked now.
- Adopted by more than 900 departments after global launch
- More than 500,000 images generated
- Included text-to-image, inpainting, outpainting, and style prompting workflows
